School starts already actually but my lessons officially starts tmr! :D

It's back to printing lecture notes, doing tutorials, long train rides and tiring weekdays...
Taking Economics this semester, i hope i can manage!
And Mastering Comm is sucha project-based module that i kind of hate it even before i've attended any lessons.
Groupwork and tutorial participation... sian ttm! ):

And i've got to juggle Math and Physics, as well as Chem and Biochem.
CCA kicks in, with tutoring kids on Sats and meetings for planning of VOC this year.
This semester is surely not easy, definitely.

I know there are some things i've to put aside at this time.
There's enough things to juggle, enough problems to worry about...
We can't expect a perfect solution for anything and everything.
I've kicked the habit of being a perfectionist, waiting for the time to start and end things perfectly, because some things are just not meant to be.

有时候包容不完美比执着于完美来得容易 (:

On a sidenote, looking at Chemistry notes makes me happy :D

One more week before school starts!

It's going to be a good semester because i've no lessons most Mondays! (:
No Monday blues! :D
Hopefully i get my electives, whether its Korean/Econs/Japanese.
At least i can clear my GERPE/UE.

I kind of miss school when i can't find anything to do at home.
But i know i will miss having nothing to do when school starts.
LOL, aah thinking about MATLAB, lab reports and mastering comm module, i realise i don't miss school THAT much actually.

Anyways, there's more to look forward to.
JJ Party 5 in Feb, JJ I AM Concert in March and after the semester, Taiwan trip! :D
definitely great motivations to work hard this semester eh.

一年又过去了...

It may seem like a really short year, because time flies when you're having fun.
And i did had lots of fun this year! :D

Its not easy to sum up the whole year.
Lots of ups and downs, happiness and sadness, surprises and disappointments...

but what really matter is i've gotten over some stuffs,
some things that should be let go, you'll let them go eventually.

Biochem midterm was such a demoralising one.
1st year, 1st sem, 1st module, 1st test.
screwing it up just doesn't feel good.
and it's 20% leh! :(

Just have to work doubly hard for the rest of the subjects and final exams!
it's chemistry anyway, i won't have any complaints about spending more time on it.
plus i've to prove the point that i'm going to do well in something i have passion in.
it doesn't mean you are good just because you follow the norms.

Being with kids are one of the reasons that brighten up my day.
Be the reason for them to smile, and they'll be the reason for you to smile (:

Sometimes, you just get tired of some things and feel like giving it up and letting it go, but you know you can't.
And so you hang on, then look back and realise how much better you would have been if you'd not persisted.

Whether it was worth it, i really don't know.

Recess week is finally here!
but there's just too much things to do within this 7 pathetic days :(

cca camp, Kbox (seriously, i can't do without one), catch up with friends, STUDY!!
And studying means doing tutorials, catch up on school work, revising for midterms!
haiyo, so i have to forgo things like catching up on ylbfb, shopping...

Midterms is worrying me, especially for physics.
I tried, and im still trying, but me and physics just don't have chemistry :/
I still have that passion for Math so it's not that bad.
Biochem and org chem have got lots of stuffs to memorise.

then those stupid rashes have to come back again.
taking medicine after medicine, pills after pills, it just doesn't work.
i really don't want to scratch them, but often i will scratch till it bleeds and now my legs and hands are full of scars :(

I've been very very patient with Physics, it's a good thing i haven't tear up any Physics lecture notes/tutorials.

Lab is actually fun and i really look forward to Monday mornings! (other than the lab report that comes with it)

Trial and error to find out my allergy is tiring.

I want more time, and I want everyone to have more time!

Since its fate that brought us to where we are now, let's just leave it to fate to decide where we should end up as well.

I'll turn a blind eye on some things, and be contented.

I really miss looking forward to that 5pm for yu le bai fen bai!

Let me do some update proper.

It's been about 8 months of holidays.
Next week i'll be back in school, a different school with different people, starting my 4 years academic as an undergraduate.
I like how my timetable has chem lessons and ONLY chem lessons :D
but because there's not enough AUs, im suppose to take electives but i haven't decide what.
there's already 1 in my timetable though, just the one i wanted. forensic science! :)

Just finished reading a compilation of A Child Called 'It', The Lost Boy and A Man Named Dave.
I feel so much for Dave, and the abuse part made me teared.
Still can't believe how cruel one can get especially when the one you're abusing is your own child.
Yet, Dave doesn't bear grudges, and blamed neither his mother for the abuse nor his father for not reporting the abuse.
Pick up the book if you can, there's lots of lessons to be learnt in there.

I was in the supermarket, and i saw this JJ's figure next to the Super Coffeemix.
Was happy, because i know he's the 代言人.
But what made me smile even more was what i heard the next second.

There was this particular kid who walked past, pointed to JJ and told his elder sister,
'i know, i know him! He's the ohyea ohyea ohyea.....!'

JJ certainly has some popularity among the kids now!
and i love kids, because kids love JJ's cheer! :D

had an awesome birthday! (or rather week!)
19th birthday's one of the best one i had so far.

bowling with 8.1!
my first time bowling and i totally throw all my face away.

they used their lunchtime to go all the way to tanjong pagar station to buy the cake (:

and its my favourite cheesecake (with Redondo biscuit candles!) :D

i entered jc, not knowing why i chose this route.
back then, i wanted to study psychology because it was something (i thought) i had passion in.
but i contemplated, and was worried i'll regret if i didn't like it.
jc was a 'i have no idea what i want to be, so don't major in anything yet' choice.

so my results brought me to nyjc.
my subject combination brought me to 0824.
my passion brought me to guitar ensemble.

and in turn,

nyjc brought me a nice and conducive place to study, with nice P and VP.
0824 brought me a great class of (almost) girls, and the best teachers i could ever have.
guitar ensemble brought me a wonderful bunch of good friends that brightened up my jc life.

ok, pictures! (thanks to whoever i took these photos from!)

mr wong! most dedicated teacher who is ever there to give us consultations.
i feel bad for not doing well for Math, i promise i'll do my best for A's! :)

i enjoyed being part of the clique :)

so much for these few weeks, had been studying and finally over and done with prelims!

before all the results start coming in,
before im so pressurized about A levels,
before i start cooping myself up at home and study yet again,

i guess i deserve abit of time to go out, have fun, and hang out with fellow 8.1! (:

so there, we went somewhere near nich's house to fly kite, something i haven't done for years. ^^

after which, me and dear made our way to dhoby ghaut for our long awaited Astons!

i think we're really patient people, despite our hunger!
the queue was extremely long and we waited for more than an hour, and it was around 9 when we started to eat!

i must say, it was worth the wait :D

Did some chemistry today, then went for guitar bbq.
i was so punctual okay :D
not many turned up but anyways, had quite abit of fun playing cards and stuffs.
nope, wasn't the one who light the charcoal/ buy the charcoal/ bbq the food or what.
but somehow, i feel tired (and abit hungry now. hahaha, the bbq we didn't eat much)

just when we're about to go off, some cockroach had to come out.
and after we went home, yeqi smsed me that she saw a dead cockroach near her flat.

LOL, not my fault okays.
because takumi claims today is cockroach day.
so i think its his fault. lol.

Today is food tour day!
it's birthday celebration for jasmine, thank me for the brilliant idea.
HAHAHA! :D
we were slowed down (because we kept waiting. for seats, and for the wonderful bus 58)
nevertheless, we went to 3 places to eat.
but we didn't manage to go weiting's and lisa's one ):

1st stop! Mr Chicken Rice at downtown east!
2nd stop! Ikea for meatballs!
3rd stop! Changi Airport Popeyes!

hahaa we just ate continuously at the 3 stops, took about 4 hours.

the highlight of the day was me and brenda's LOOOOONGGG 'toilet trip',
which was actually to go and buy jasmine's cake and present.

then me and brenda bought lighter, tried lighting the candles.
goodness... the thing is, WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE LIGHTER!
so had to ask lisa for help, and she bluffed jasmine to find us in ntuc..
it is totally LOLLLL.
but the whole process was so much fun! (:

i wore STAGE today! xD

chem result is not too good, but not too bad. expected.
should be a D, if i did shade my OTAS sheet correctly.
of course, im not pleased with just a D. could have been better.

D is for disappointment :/

FULL structural formula, mechanism and things like that.
i could almost imagine mr low screaming at me for such mistakes. LOL

whatever results i've gotten for mids,

i tell myself this is the last time im going to disappoint my tutors.
this is the last time i can afford to.

in about 7weeks, i should score for prelims to boost my confidence for A's.
in about 4 months, it'll be A's.

i'll study harder, longer and smarter :)

P1: 35/100, P2: 36.5/60
this kind of weird results... is 没有人会拿的咯.
i score even more for a paper over 60 than a paper which is over 100 -.-

sigh.. but expected yah. i knew P1 was totally screwed up.
i tried my best to revive it with P2, am happy with P2 except for careless mistakes.
if i hadn't made them, i could have pass.
zzz...

i hate to disappoint, and i really hope i don't.
especially tmr's CHEM paper...

if i fail chem, there's nth else i can pass already D:

i know i've done badly this time round.
and its really really bad, like cant even pass that kind ):

Math paper 2 was ok, i hope it can help me pass my math.
because paper 1 was..... as good as handing in blank foolscap papers :/
functions, vectors and complex numbers came out for P2, spot on!
i actually prepared for this 3 pure math topic only, other than stats, for P2 :D

Chem, just no time to do lor. paper1 and paper2 today.
shading whatever i like for P1 because no time to even think about the qn.
then P2 i rushed through everything, just in time to finish the paper.

ayeee, well... over le lah.
i hope i pass math and chem,
though this time math is kinda hopeless, paper2 only 60marks.

i don't even want to mention Geog and Econs. LOL.
